For the 3rd consecutive year the Collegiate Running Association (CRA) and the Loudoun Street Mile brought the Collegiate Road Mile National Championship to Winchester, VA. The 2021 Loudoun Street Mile was held Monday, May 31.
In 2019 and 2020 Loudoun Street Mile races hosted the Collegiate Road Mile National Championship prize money specifically reserved for college students. This year the successful event hosted the 2021 Collegiate Championships and awarded $4.350 in prize money. The wave starts provided for an opportunity for everyone to run a fast time and equal opportunities for personal success. The common start for the Collegiate Championship and Open Championship, allowed eligible college students to win both collegiate and open prize money.
